    Tor uses three web proxies which each encrypt your data packets separately. The result of this is that no one proxy knows both your IP and the contents of your data packets.

    Whilst Netshade looks like a cool app (and I’ll link to its video tutorial in this blog), it relies on just one proxy which knows both your IP and the contents of your data packets. So if you are unlucky enough to use a ‘bad’ proxy you anonymity is compromised.

    Having said that you should still be wary of what tor servers you are connecting through.
