Perfect- thank you. I did not have the file referenced in step #1, but I did have the #2 file. I deleted it, and just like you said, I was prompted to re-enter the license key.

I get this message but when I go to the systme preferences it lists
HP IP.app
Microsoft excel.app
Microsoft word.app
Microsoft powerPoint.app
safari.app
Do I delete these? Sorry I am just confused?

THANK YOU SO MUCH ~ This saved me @ school…it seemed like I was fighting with someone else to use word in class and by doing this I am now capable of taking notes.
